The plan gets out of hand

Yuri tucked the knife into his pocket and stepped into the circle.
‘And now, we wait for them to sense him.’

Suddenly, a flash of light appeared. Moriko-zombie was standing outside of the circle instead of inside it!
‘Yuri!’ Himitsu yelled. Yuri had flicked out the knife and started swinging it. It cut the zombie’s face. It screamed and it grabbed his arm and turned away from Gump and Himitsu. It jumped up, ready to teleport.

Himitsu grabbed Gump and reached out to the zombie’s red, raw leg just in time.

The zombie kept kicking at them, but Himitsu didn’t let go. They were moving at rocket speed in to the sky.
‘Let go, Himitsu! You’re going to kill yourself!’ Yuri yelled.
‘The human is speaking sense! Let go. We’ll trace the zombie manually!’ Gump growled.
‘Save yourself!’ Yuri yelled. The zombie used its free hand and wrung it around Yuri’s neck.

It growled at Himitsu in a foreign language.
‘Himitsu! Go!’ Yuri tried his best to yell.

Himitsu glared at the zombie and yanked Gump up. Gump kicked its face and they started falling.

Himitsu grabbed hold of Yuri and Gump and landed calmly onto the ground.
‘Not without you.’ Himitsu panted. Yuri scoffed.
‘That’s my line.’
‘I don’t care.’ Himitsu smiled. Yuri threw an arm around her and hugged her.

Footsteps were heard. The broke apart to see who it was. It was Yuki-Zombie.
‘Yuki…’ Yuri pursed his lips. His hand was trembling and the pocket knife in his hand trembled along with it. Himitsu clasped his hand.
‘Ah… Yuri, my brother. Welcome to my humble abode.’ A voice from behind called out. It sent a shiver up his spine.

Yuri whirred around and saw no one.
‘I’m here, idiot…’
