Yuri turns around and surprises himself.

There, right in front of him, was... himself! But not exactly… Yuri stared hard at the pale, frailer version of him. His hair. It was a shade lighter than Yuri’s.
‘Welcome, brother from another mother.’
‘I don’t even know you.’ Yuri’s voice cracked.
‘You may be from another mother, but we share the same dad, Yuri.’
Yuri’s eyes narrowed.
‘Brother from another mother is just a phrase.’
‘Not in this case, Yuri.’ The pale Yuri said. ‘We do share the same father.’
‘My dad was loyal to my mother.’ Yuri retorted.
‘I never said he wasn’t. He was just disloyal to mine.’
Yuri’s heart raced. I have a half brother…? He thought frantically.
‘Yes, Yuri.’ As if he could read minds, the pale Yuri said, ‘I am your half brother.’
Yuri bit back a retort. He couldn’t believe it.
‘Remember? Every year, your father would disappear to his “Annual Meetings”. Well, the truth was, he always disappeared to pass my mother money, so to raise me up.’ The pale Yuri smirked.
‘Who are you?’ Yuri trembled. Himitsu and Gump were looking at each other nervously.
‘Me? I am your half brother, Sato Yuke. Our father met my mother before he met yours. Our father was unfaithful. He left my mother for yours. He did not know my mother was conceived with me until after he married your mother.’
‘But he gave you money.’
Yuri glared at Yuri in a haughty stare.
‘Money killed my mother. Money was the root of all problems. Your father seldom came to our home after you were born. At first, it was once a month, then once every half year, then it became once every year.
‘My mother became desperate. She needed money. The money our father gave me was insufficient for my school fees. But did he care? No, he only cared for you.’ Yuke pointed at Yuri. ‘His son. The son that wasn’t a bastard. His son that he could be proud of. You see, Yuri. Our father was regretful. It was guilty conscience that made him give us money. And finally, you came around.’
Yuri kneeled down, reluctant to listen any further.
‘My mother pleaded him for money. But he wouldn’t give any. He said he needed the money for you.’ Yuke looked at Yuri coldly. Himitsu kneeled down and put an arm around his shoulder. ‘And she threatened to commit suicide, and bring me with her. Our father, being stupid, did not take this seriously.
‘She did commit suicide. But she did not bring me with her. Instead, she wrote me a long letter about the reason, and sent me to an orphanage. I was 8.
‘I finally understood what she was writing after 4 years of trying to work out the big words she had used in the letter.’
Yuri looked up at Yuke.
‘I sought to take revenge on our father. I wanted to kill him. I used 5 years to plan my revenge. But in the end, I was shot by one of your many estate guards. Our father made a quiet funeral, and buried me beside my mother. And this leads me here.
‘I had an unfinished task, and I vowed to finish it, even in death. So I came back as an undead. And my plan almost succeeded. But then I realized it was not fully our father’s fault. It was also yours. If only you hadn’t popped out of your lovely mother’s stomach, I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t have to stoop so low, talking to a little piece of scum like you.’
Gump glared at Yuke.
‘Which insane asylum did you come from?! How could you blame him?! Is it any of his fault?’
‘Yes!’ Yuke glared back. ‘It was all his fault. He stole my father from me! He stole everything from me!’
Himitsu stood up and spat at him.
‘You did not just do that, Witch!’ Yuke growled.
‘I did. And I think your father did the right thing to dump you!’
This earned a slap from Yuke. Himitsu stood there, unfazed.
Yuri stood up and clenched his fist. He raised it and brought down into Yuke’s face.
‘Don’t you dare hit Himitsu!’ He howled.
‘Do I look like I give a damn?!’ Yuke growled. His mouth parted and he spoke something in a foreign language.
Yuri looked up from Yuke’s face, and saw bands of zombies walking towards them.
‘Oops.’ Yuke said sarcastically. Yuke kicked Yuri in the groin and stood up, dusting himself off. He spoke in that foreign language again.
Himitsu’s eyes widened. Gump lost all of the smugness in his face. Yuri turned around and looked at them.
‘He said “Attack”, didn’t he?’
‘Not exactly. He said “Act harmfully on the three people” in literal meaning.’ Gump muttered.
Yuri rolled his eyes.
So the war began.
