Himitsu has an Idea.

"Are you angry at me, or Gump?"
'You! Why did you have to make a scene!? Now everyone thinks I am a big headed witch! Because you stood up for me. They think you’re trying to cover up the truth for me…’ Himitsu said. She looked straight into his eyes.
Yuri realized what he had done. He pursed his lips guiltily.
‘I’m sorry. I didn’t know it would be seen like that…’ He whispered.
‘Oh, don’t worry about it.’ Himitsu sighed. ‘It’ll pass.’
Yuri licked his lips nervously.
‘Well, let’s get back before Ma gets worried. Believe me, she is a bit of a worrywart.’
‘Right.’ Yuri nodded.
They continued walking in silence.
‘Oh, you’re back! Come in and have some tea!’ Eien grinned.
They walked in, Himitsu refusing to look at Yuri. Eien sensed something bad between them, but chose to ignore it.
‘Here, have some.’ Eien smiled, passing a cup of tea.
‘What is this…?’ Yuri asked hesitantly. Himitsu sipped her cup.
‘Tea. We drink things from your world too!’ Eien laughed.
Yuri sighed and gulped down the tea.
‘Ahh…’ Yuri sighed contentedly. Himitsu pursed her lips in order to stop smiling.
That night, Eien suggested conjuring a bed in the living room for him to sleep in, but Yuri shook his head.
‘I can sleep on the couch.’ Yuri grinned. Himitsu trudged up to her room.
‘Well, you can just pick up any of the quilts if you’re cold. Well, good night, Yuri.’
‘Good night, Eien.’ Yuri nodded. He lay down on the couch and covered himself with a quilt.
Eien walked to Himitsu’s room quietly.
‘Knock knock, Himitsu.’ Eien said, not bothering to knock for real.
‘Oh, hi Ma.’ Himitsu was sitting at her bed, flipping through a thick book full of spells.
‘So late, and you’re still studying?’ Eien smiled. Himitsu laughed lightly.
‘I have to research and see who’s transfiguring the people in to zombies. And kill the bugger.’
‘You’re dedicated.’
‘Aren’t all Bounty Hunters supposed to be?’
Eien sat down beside her.
‘I sensed something between both you. It wasn’t good. What happened?’
Himitsu blushed slightly.
‘Oh my goodness, is that a blush I see working up to your face?!’
Himitsu never really liked it when her mother used her special ability. She could sense other people’s feeling, no matter how good of a mask they put on. But sometimes, it does have its quirks. Her mother would automatically come over and talk to her about her problems. She was like a “Dear Eien”.
‘I was called a “big head” by a bounty hunter dwarf at the town today.’
‘Then what’s with the blush?’
‘Yuri backed me up.’
Eien started grinning.
‘Now everyone thinks I am big headed as the stupid dwarf says. They think Yuri backed me up to cover the truth.’ Himitsu grumbled.
‘One thing I know about witches, honey, is that they don’t give a damn about what one says about others, especially if “one” is dwarf and “others” are witches. They support their kind instead of others most of the time.’
‘It was kind of noisy then. But a few witches saw us.’
‘Forget it. Witches will support you, supposedly.’
‘Alright.’ Himitsu smiled at her mother.
‘Now, put that book away and get some sleep.’ Eien smiled. She stood up and kissed Himitsu’s forehead.
‘Goodnight, Ma.’
She lay on her bed and thought about her mission with Yuri. It would be alright if they could gather a few extra hands. And suddenly, it hit her.
