Yuri and Himitsu sees the dwarf, Gump... again.

Himitsu and Yuri walked down to the town in complete silence. It was uncomfortable.

When they reached the town, it was like a complete change of scenery. From a quiet countryside, it became as noisy as a city.
‘Whoa…’ Yuri whispered. Himitsu looked ahead. She grabbed his hand and pulled him into the crowd.

For some reason, Yuri felt slightly happy when Himitsu held his hand. And then there was another feeling at the back of his head. Complete surprise. She was holding his hand… The ever cold Himitsu, holding Yuri’s hand…

She let go of him when they reached the book binder’s shop.
‘Mr. Pier! Open up!!!!!!’ Himitsu said, banging her fist on the door.

Yuri raised his eyebrow. An old man with graying hair opened the door.
‘Eien’s daughter…’
‘Hey, Mr. Pier! Do you mind helping my Ma bind this book? The pages are loose…’ Himitsu said, passing the book to him.

He examined the binding.
‘Wait a minute.’

He disappeared into the shop. His head popped out from the door.
‘It’s fixed!’ He grinned, holding out the new and improved book.
‘Wow! That was fast!’ Yuri couldn’t help saying. The old man raised an eyebrow.
‘He used magic. A book-binder must have a special ability. That is to stick and stitch up things real quickly…?’
‘Right. I got that.’ Yuri said, nodding.

After Himitsu passed a few coins, they walked away.
‘Why are there so many people here?’
‘Well, they’re probably collecting their monthly salary. And some are collecting their rewards for bounty hunting…’
‘Why aren’t you there?’ Yuri asked.
‘I didn’t kill any zombies, of course.’ Himitsu said, shrugging.
‘But what about those you killed in my house?’
‘The reward was for killing ALL the zombies.’

Suddenly, someone hit Himitsu on the back. She almost fell over, but Yuri grabbed her by the waist. She brushed off imaginary dirt from her cloak. Yuri turned around to see who it was. It was the dwarf, Gump.
‘What the heck are you doing here?!’ Yuri asked. Himitsu turned around and stared at the short man coldly.
‘Collecting my prize money. The one I took from your little witch!’ Gump spat, waving the sack of gold in front of Himitsu.

Himitsu looked away. Yuri tried to take the money, but couldn’t.
‘Uh-uh-uh…’ Gump said, wagging his finger at him. ‘Anyways, your witch friend didn’t deserve it! I did though… I killed the zombie… And when I go home, I’ll distribute them to the dwarves! Something your witch friend would never do! Big head!’ He spat again.
‘You creep!’ Yuri roared and launched himself towards Gump. He punched him, and punched him hard. ‘DON’T- YOU- EVER- TALK- ABOUT- HIMITSU- OR- ANY- WITCH- LIKE-THAT-AGAIN!’

There was a crowd looking at them now. Himitsu grabbed for Yuri and pulled him away.
‘Himitsu! He was talking bad about you! And RIGHT in front of you!’ Yuri yelled. He gave Gump a cold glance. He had turned black and blue.

Himitsu pursed her lips.
‘Just leave him.’
‘Oh, look at what the “big headed witch” did for you! Let you go!’ Yuri said to Gump. Himitsu pulled him away.
‘IF YOU NEED ME, JUST GIVE ME A CALL. I’LL BE HERE FOR A MONTH.’ Gump yelled.

They walked away. Himitsu’s nose flared in anger.
‘Are you angry at me or Gump?’ Yuri asked worriedly.
