Yuri pulls Himitsu away from the crowd

Himitsu tried yanking her hand away but couldn’t.
‘What, Flower?’ Himitsu barked.
‘I just wanted to talk to you. Is that a crime?!’ Yuri asked, letting her hand go.
‘No, but it hurts!’ Himitsu grumbled and inspected her hand.
‘Sorry.’ Yuri smiled sheepishly. ‘I just wanted to say… er… thanks. For helping me through all this.’

Yuri hugged her again. Himitsu licked her lips nervously and hugged him back.
‘It’s my job.’ Himitsu said softly, and patted him on his back awkwardly.

Yuri let go and looked at her. Himitsu was shuffling from foot to foot.

Yuri had never felt this nervous around a girl. Normally, he’d flirt, but never felt any real emotions…
‘Er, I guess I’ll go… now…’ Himitsu stuttered as she turned away.

Go get her, Yuri! Don’t be a wuss! He thought. Yuri’s arm shot out and grabbed her wrist, making her turn back.
‘Yeah?’ Himitsu started, but Yuri had crashed his lips onto hers.

Himitsu’s eyes widened in surprise. Yuri pressed harder onto her, and she closed her eyes finally.

Eien and Moriko were talking to each other silently when Hikari came bouncing towards them.
‘Eien-san! Look!’ Hikari said, bouncing up and down excitedly. She pointed at the two figures, and both adults’ jaws dropped.
‘Oh my…’ Moriko started, with a slight hint of delight in her voice.
‘Aren’t you happy for them?!’ Hikari smiled. Eien just smiled at Hikari.
‘I suppose I am.’ Eien chuckled and continued to talk to Moriko.

Yuri pulled away, surprised by his own actions. Yuri licked his lips nervously.
‘Sorry.’ He muttered. He stared at his hands. Since when did he put his hands at her waist?! He reluctantly detached them.

Himitsu felt her cheeks growing hot.
‘Erm… well, thanks. For everything.’ Yuri said.

Yuri rushed away. Himitsu couldn’t help but touch the places he had been. Running her fingers through her hair, she walked off to look for the others.

Gump, who was also looking, started to smirk in his normal smugness.
Finally.’ was all he said.
