Yuri and Eien have a heart-to-heart talk. :)

She hopped out of bed first thing in the morning. Got changed, washed up and ran downstairs.
‘Yuri!’ She called as she ran down.
‘What is it, Princess?’ Yuri asked groggily.
That earned a grin from Eien. Himitsu blushed again.
‘Get changed. Get cleaned. Get some food; we’re going to look for that good for nothing dwarf.’
‘Why?!’
Himitsu sat by his side. He had just sat up from the couch.
‘We need a few extra hands for this mission.’
‘But that Gump wouldn’t do anything for us. For your information, he called you a big head.’ Yuri said, now finally awake.
‘We’ll just use his people as an excuse.’
‘Say what?’ Yuri asked.
‘He’s obviously just a leader who couldn’t possibly care less about himself. He only cares about the safety of his people. So we’ll just say…’
‘If we kill that “transfigure-rer”, then his people would be safe forever!’
‘Exactly! Now go get changed and cleaned up. If we get the dwarf in, I’ll treat you to Japanese food.’
‘You’re on!’ Yuri grinned, giving Himitsu a high five.
Yuri had put on the new pair of clothes Eien had given him.
‘They were my husband’s.’ Eien said.
‘What happened to him? If you don’t mind me asking, that is…’
‘He left us.’ Eien shrugged.
Yuri bit his lip.
‘In what way?’
‘He got himself another woman.’ Eien laughed. ‘A Weisse Frauen. Or more commonly known as a White Woman.’
‘What’re those?’ Yuri asked.
‘German Elven-spirits. ’
‘Did she speak German?’ Yuri joked. Eien laughed.
‘They speak every language known to humans. So do witches.’ Eien grinned.
Eien sat down on a chair.
‘Witches marry when they come of age. Normally when they’re 13 to 18. They get match-made. I married that idiot when I was 14.’
‘How old is Himitsu?’ Yuri asked slowly.
‘Same age as you. Believe it or not, we age the exact same rate as the humans in the Human Realm.’
Yuri grinned.
‘Witches marry only because we don’t want our race to die out. Our race meaning: Witches and Wizards. So, everyone has to marry in this godforsaken realm. I wish I hadn’t.’
Yuri wiped his grin of his face. He had just realized something.
‘Eien… I’m 15 this year. So is Himitsu. Does that mean she’ll be wedded soon?’
‘Possibly. If she puts aside bounty hunting and settle down.’ Eien said. She raised a brow at him. ‘Why… did you ask?’
Yuri shook his head.
‘Nothing!’ Yuri smiled. Let’s see her look through Poker Yuri Face! He thought silently.
‘You’re lying.’
Damn… Yuri thought. ‘I’m not!’
‘For your information, I have a certain special ability that allows me to sense feelings. I know you’re lying.’ ‘
DAMN! Yuri thought. ‘Well, yeah. I’m lying. I just think that Himitsu is a bit too young to marry.’
Not exactly a lie. More of like… Half a lie…?
‘Mm…’ Eien shrugged.
Yuri walked down, wearing his new, clean pair of clothes. Well, not exactly new. They were, after all, Himitsu’s father’s clothes.
Himitsu saw Yuri in her father’s clothes. Immediately, she felt a pang of sadness. How she remembered the day he left them. How fresh it was still in her memory.
